Hi! I’m Jillianne.
I am fortunate to have grown up in a family that taught me to see the world as a classroom – to recognize the value in informing my view of the world by forming treasured relationships with people whose backgrounds differ from mine. Travel is my biggest passion, and I am fortunate that I get to do it often, especially because my husband is an airline pilot!
Here are a few random facts about me:
- I am a night owl and in the morning, I hit snooze a million times.
- I love coffee and tea, but I always get distracted and end up having to reheat it multiple times before I finish a cup!
- I am obsessed with hard-copy magazines. I interned at Marie Claire right after I graduated from university, and I used to write for airline in-flight magazines.
- I am a mega space nerd and went to Space Camp in middle school!
- The only food I hate is cilantro.
- I am allergic to dogs.
- I worked at Disney for six years. It truly is the Most Magical Place on Earth!
- I watch movies on planes… on other people’s screens
- I am fascinated by languages. I took Arabic lessons in law school (I can still introduce myself, order a coffee, and read and write proper nouns). I am working on improving my Spanish now!
